Hydrogen: The Fuel of the Future

Most production systems try to become first full-scale production begins as small toys and devices of concept. The Horizon hydrogen car is an example.

Many people are aware of the need to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. One of the main culprits, of course, are emissions from automotive. The H-Racerr is a small toy car, but is powered by hydrogen, and although it is only a very small amount of hydrogen is a very dangerous toy and requires to be used with care.

The H-Racer uses 100% clean fuel produced by an intelligent hydrogen storage station. You can get hydrogen production from solar energy in a totally environmentally friendly. The heart of the H-Racer is a hydrogen fuel cell, the cell is able to convert hydrogen into electricity for use in the vehicle.

As hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, it would be fantastic if this turns out to be the clean solution to fossil fuels effects of global warming protagonists, and perhaps gives our children a stable, more reliable.

The hydrogen is converted into electricity without preheating combustion to produce clean fuel final. At present, car manufacturers are investigating. There are a number of hydrogen vehicles primarily as concept cars and BMW’s future production, which has been a saloon motor vehicle powered by hydrogen V12. All of them are using hydrogen as the fuel of the future.

As oil is depleted and increased instability in Iran and Iraq. Our effort should be placed as far from this instability as possible. There is no point having hydrogen cars if we do not have hydrogen filling stations to recharge. There are more than two hundred stations, hydrogen fuel supply. This may seem a small amount, but it is a beginning and a step in the right direction.

A hydrogen fuel cell works by following these principles. The fuel cell is composed of layers of advanced materials, including a layer called proton exchange membrane. Through the exchange of hydrogen atoms with O2 atoms not, you can generate electricity.

An average fuel cell of this type can reach between 40% and 60% of energy is much more efficient than gasoline. As more effort by car manufacturers do, the zero emission car becomes a reality, although there are obstacles to the hydrogen option and you should not forget that most governments are based on tax of petrol and diesel for income.

It will be interesting to see how governments are promoting tax cuts on energy efficient cars, because as we change the balance will be a need to generate revenue of green cars too.

From these toys (H-Racer), we can teach children about how to foster a better environment and better conditions for our planet.

The next 50 years will see major changes in our energy system and hopefully seeing this toy that is likely to have a better world.
